The Boondocks was at first a syndicated comic strip created by one Arron McGruder which after years of pissing off publishers has made the jump to the realm of animated goodness. Magic Knight Rayearth was my first anime love, and it is my pleasure and honor to be the one to pimp it out to you guys. It's pretty old school - the anime ended in 1995 and the manga in 1996, but I don't know of a single series out there that so effectively utilizes the art of the brain-breaking plot twist and is so irreverent of genre lines. Why should you read Tanya Huff's Smoke and _________ series?  Because these vampires don't sparkle.  Also hot mounties.  Also there's threesome sex to save the world.  Also well-hung demons and cranky old wizards with cats.

GENERALLY IT IS AWESOMESAUCE.
